The Chambre immobilière de l’Outaouais (CIO) is
a local, non-profit professional organization made up of more than
400 real estate agents in the region.

Founded in 1964, the CIO is celebrating its 40th anniversary
in 2004.

The area served by the CIO extends from the municipality of
Vallée de la Gatineau to the City of Gatineau (north-south
corridor), as well as from the municipality of Papineau to Pontiac
(east-west corridor).

The CIO is affiliated with both the Fédération
des Chambres immobilières du Québec, which brings
together the twelve real estate boards in Quebec, and the Canadian
Real Estate Association.

Our Mission
Our organization is dedicated to the services provided by real
estate agents and brokers and represents its members in dealings
with both the general public and real estate stakeholders. Whether
on its own or in a partnership with others, the CIO provides its
real estate agents and brokers with the training, products and services
they need in order to meet their business objectives.
Our Objectives
To represent our member agents and brokers and to promote the real
estate profession among:
- The general public
- Various levels of government
- Stakeholders in the real estate market
To promote the economic impact of the work carried out by CIO
members
To organize activities and events that will provide our members
with an opportunity to socialize and network with their colleagues
